Brandy Hole Copse
Back to Photo Gallery Home page

Brandy Hole Copse can be found on the edge of Chichester, situated to the north-west off the Funtington Road. It is an area of natural woodland occupying some 15 acres of oak, coppiced sweet chestnut and some Scots pine.

The Copse includes the woodland known as the East Broyle Copse and it is bordered by the Centurian Way Cycle Path, Brandy Hole Lane and St Pauls Road. It is partly owned by Chichester District Council and the remainder is leased from two landowners. The woodland along the Northern boundary is thought to be ancient woodland.
